I guess I'm stupid, i don't buy by commercial, research, research and research. That's the way I bought all my cars, my trucks, and the Monty. The Chevy just happened to meet my needs and at a price that wasn't too bad. Commercials are just about the biggest turn off for me in the whole world. I am especially repulsed by the Geico ads where they have the TV Actors or singers screaming and hollering, and I have GEICO INSURANCE! The cavemen are pretty cool though....
just my opinion for what it's worth.

It is understood brandbashing comments are sometimes made in jest. Sometimes those comments are taken as serious and complaints are filed. This forum will not tolerate brandbashing. In jest or serious. Repeating offenders will be warned. After that the membership might be locked. Unfortunately in writing it is not always clear if it is in jest. Your cooperation will be appreciated.

Jeep improved greatly when they merged with Daimler. As Jeep owners for over 20 years we've noticed the difference. I would not mind having a Chrysler U-connect bluetooth hands free telephone system in my Chevy Silverado LT3. My lovely wife's Grand Cherokee Limited has it and its a great option!!

Just to throw more fuel on the fire: the local newspaper yesterday on the financial page, reported that VW declined to enter into aquisition talks with Daimler-Chrysler---just think about it: a "bug" Cummins-equipped....!Maybe all the major auto-makers will form a conglomerate unter the new moniker "ACME MOTORS LTD." with the Roadrunner as the hood ornament and Wiley Coyote as its logo...!
