Went for an oil change
Well, went for an oil change but didn't buy a new truck BUT did get to drive a new Ford 2008 King Ranch F350 with the new diesel. It's at a dealer in Homestead, Florida. WOW very nice, lots of bells and whistles. Love the new mirrors both telescope out and tilt in. Too much to list. Oh by the way, no deals sticker price.

It was really quiet, smooth and lots of power. As soon as I win the lottery I'm getting one. We drove a King Ranch so a lot of extras.

Sounds nice Dennis - Guess I'll just have to swim in jealousy when I see one pulling a new Big Sky . Our TV and Monty are less than 6-months old, so it will be a very long time before we are in the market again.

Dennis,
When the time comes to buy a new truck, the King Ranch is on my list to check out... They are a nice truck. =)

Sky - The King Ranch is all about those seats - Wow. The leather is extremely soft and comfortable.

Brad,
I was looking at Fordzilla's dually while in Goshen last fall. I really like that saddle leather, not sure what to make of the rest of the truck yet. LOL!

Bill, it doesn't surprise me at this point that the dealer wants sticker but you were able to order one at a discount. Somebody won't want to wait on an ordered vehicle and will pay him the full price. Once they're more readily available off the lot, that will change. It was the same story when the beefed up 2005's first came out.

Dealer wouldn't budge. He actually wanted $500 over sticker for dealer costs. He finally decided he wouldn't charge us that. Just like you said Steve the first ones out are bringing the price. He felt someone would pay the price (not us)/
