Furniture

We own a 2012 3750fl. Our furniture has completely peeled off from the rediculous bonded leather. Has anyone replaced the furniture in the front living. If so how did you do it. We picked out furniture from a furniture store and began to pull out our furniture to find that the back of it is cut out to fit. To put furniture in it would put your head at the top of the slide and a step off. We are at a loss other than to trade it for a big loss

On our 2005, we used lazy boy for new recliners. On our 2015, we just replaced the sofa and theater seating (crap bonded leather) with furniture we bought via Glastop.com. Many size choices and colors, fabrics or ultra leather. We went with ultra leather, fit perfectly, removable backs on all.

We went with Lazy Boy when we traded out the furniture in our 2010, both times we did it.

Sometime new stuff may not fit right you have to measure and make sure you can put the new stuff in the RV in pieces and assemble inside. Most units you have to pull a slide off to get stuff in and out unless you cut up the old stuff.

Besides ourselves, have helped several of our snowbird neighbors removing and replacing furniture and replacement of rv frigs with residential/RV units, including four door models. Have always been able to remove thru the entry door and have never had to chop anything up. Pulled out a big sofa bed from our 3910FB no problem, between three guys. Have had to remove frig doors to accomplish. Pulling a slide, never heard of anybody doing that, that would be a major labor effort. Would be better to go thru a window, even that would be an extreme case.

Removed the sleeper sofa in our unit as it could be taken apart to make things easier. Bought two new euro recliners from the furniture warehouse and they came un-assembled and I put them together inside the monte. I moved my recliner to the kitchen slide and use a wooden piece for the very front of the recliner as this slide floor is two inches higher than the main floor. Works great to support the swivel base of my recliner and remove the wood when we pull in the slide to travel. Recliner stays put during travel just fine when I rotate it sideways.

What did you do about replacing your front living sofa? We are in the same dilemma!
