Blind problem

Does anyone have instructions on how to adjust the blinds on my 2018 3700. Some go up fast and will not stop I readjust them and they work fine then will go out again. Also I am getting a black tank oder in my shower after I dump my black tank?

I took mine in for warranty service and they replaced all the bad ones. They all work as they should now.

When you are dumping the black tank, is your grey and galley tank valves closed? The sequence of dumping that I have used forever is, with all valves closed and water in at least the grey tank(shower & vanity sinks), usually in the galley tank too, I dump and flush the black tank. Once that is done, I close the black tank valve and then dump the galley, and close that valve before opening the grey tank to fully empty the grey tank. I have never had black tank odors coming from the shower or any other sink.

Irvine Door and Shade

The slow rise blinds are manufactured by Irvine Door and Shade.
They have some videos on the website that explain adjustments.
If you call them they are helpful and will send parts if needed.

A representative from the blind company will be at the fall national rally. No help now, but answers will be available there.

As Mikendebbie stated there are several videos by Irvine Shades on their website and that explain the adjustment procedure of the blinds both slow rise and the stopping a specific heights. As DQDick also stated there will be a rep for Irvine Shades at this years Fall Rally and he will have a vendors stand and possibly give a session on the shades. If you can make the Fall Rally, it is a great place to meet Montana Owners and also get info from the OEM manufactures that Keystone Montana use in their units. Watch here on the Forum for announcements coming out soon about how to join us in Goshen in September for the Fall Rally.

Blind problem

I had that problem on one of my blinds on my 2018. I had it repaired as part of one of my warranty items.

While your messing with your shades you might want to consider reinforcing their mounts. On each of my last two trips I arrived to find one of my blinds and valance on the floor. The first one was Montana's fault due to using screws hardly bigger than a thumbtack to secure them. The second one was my fault for knowing that they were attached with inadequate hardware and not addressing the rest of them. There will NOT be a third time

Just a thought on you shower smell. I had a 2007 Raptor TT toy hauler. The bath sink was plumbed into the black tank. Follow your plumbing lines and investigate were they go.
