Converter

We have a Progressive 80 converter which was replaced 3-4 years ago after a power surge. Since it was installed it boiled the battery. Took it back x2 under warranty with no sucess. Finally put in a shut off switch for the battery that I manually shut off the battery so it could not boil. Well it finally died. My question ..... is there one out there that is better quality, stronger unit? Suggestions appreciated. I know I want a smart converter 4 stage with the charger.

The progessive dynamics 4590 that keystone put into our 3800 has performed top notch so far and we fulltime in our montana. The key is to buy a good multistage as you are thinking.

We have the Progressive Dynamics 4500 in our 2015 and it has worked trouble free. Even has an LED light that tells you charging rate status between boost, storage, and normal.
