Fall Rally Ladies Activities

Attention all lady Fall Rally Attendees
It's going to be a great Rally and we are going to offer some events that appeal to our ladies that are not mandatory but fun! Some ideas are past events with some new ones suggested.
Current suggestions are:

Crafts: If you have some easy craft ideas, please share and teach us!

Woman's Driving School (Look for individual signup soon...)
Coordinator: Janet Newman Way to go!!
Helper: Shirley Ziegler
Helper:

Shipshewanna Day Trip: Can include Flea Market, Shopping, lunch and more.

Ladies Luncheon: Last year it was at the Trolley Café at the Old Bag Factory in Goshen.

Photo Scrap-booking/Paper Scrap booking

Cooking Class on how to use these new Micro/Confection Ovens

Decorating and Storage Ideas

These are just a few and if you can suggest more, I'm open to ideas.
If you would like to volunteer to be a coordinator or helper please let me know and I will designate accordingly.
This is a great way to meet your MOC female friends. I will help and assist you any way I can so don't be afraid to step up and raise those hands. Email me through the forum or you can let our wagon master know and he will contact me. We will try not to overlap our activities so you can attend as many of these as you wish. Can't wait to hear from all of you!!!

Gonna toss this out there for gals to consider volunteering to host one or more of these events.

This is NOT a lot of work. NOT NOT NOT.

It is also very loosely organized, relaxed, FUN!!

The shopping day for example, almost runs itself. For the new gals someone to give them a cooks tour of Shippshee and be there to answer questions. For those of us that have been to this Rally a few times, well, we sorta just do our thing.

Luncheon, either at Shippshee OR in Goshen, or, maybe both. Basically, you take a head count, call in a reservation and you are golden.

Come on, get involved, meet the other gals! FUN FUN FUN.

YOU CAN DO IT!! LOL

Thanks for posting this morning Carol.
I will follow up and add to the above..I am taking a poll to see what the ladies would like to have as I'm not getting much response to my first post. Would all of the lady Rally attendees please answer and send to me with a yes or no so we know which you are interested in participating. Thanks, Coleen

Organized Crafts (planned)

Crafts Unplanned and see what others are doing/and just work on your own thing.

Shipshewana Shopping & Lunch. Flea market is only open Tues & Wed but there are other shops.

Shipshewana Shopping with lunch on your own.

Ladies Luncheon: I have been in contact with the Trolley Café and they can do a luncheon for us which includes A veg Quiche, Fresh Fruit and a muffin Cost approx $10 or we can order on our own.

Cooking with the new Micro/Convection oven. We don't have to actually cook ladies just tell others how to do it...if you have it figured out. I am getting some yes's on this one.

Other Idea: Suggest one!

WE finally have some of the Organized Crafts planned and purchased for this years rally so now we need for the attendees to sign up to make sure we have enough materials. Look for future postings as others may be added.

I will have some of the finished items at the Meet N Greet so you can view them. Pictures are being added to my postings...thanks Carol.

Be on the lookout for more additions to our Ladies Activities for this years Rally. Most will appeal to the ladies but there are some that may entice the men also. I will try to list each event separately so the number count will help the coordinators. If you are a spouse please make sure you show the classes to your significant other so she can sign up. First time Rally attendees...this is a great way to meet the other ladies in our group.

Coleen, I'm looking for pictures. Not finding any. Has that happened or am I totally incompetent? It is early and I am still working on my first cup of coffee!

Thanks , Jan! I hope everyone understands why we aren't quite "with it " this year!
Can't wait to see everyone, just need more than one week at home to get through all the mail and get the BS cleaned and re-packed!
