Water Heater 'Buzz'

When running the hot water faucet there is a noticeable 'buzz' noise coming from the water heater area and at a fairly low flow--not apparent when running cold water. Is there a pressure valve/relief valve that could be the problem and is it easily accessible/fixed/replaced? Thanks, B

Mine is doing it too. Others have fixed it by replacing the back flow preventer valve that is attached to the upper rear fitting on the back of the water heater. On our models the water heater can be accessed by removing the inner cabinet panels (6 screws on mine) in the cabinet next to the fireplace/TV on the end of the kitchen counter. I plan on changing mine out soon as well and see if that changes things.

Phil-Thanks for the info---yup, I suspect the backflow preventer as well and after a 'search' on the MOC site found other helpful info. Will change it out when we gwet home in a few weeks.
