YAHOO!! Found our First Two!!
Ma & Pa Wilson and exav8tr,
Brenda and I found our first two caches! What great fun. We were a little frustrated in learning what the GPS was telling us and then trying to actually locate the cache. The first found cache was in the woods behind a school. We trodded thru the woods on our way in, but we found it, then followed the easy path out. (Phil, we didn't see the gate/path on the way in). On the second found cache, we didn't finfd it until our second visit. Gave up on the first visit. It was a magnetic cannisted under the picnic table. Brenda found that one.
So we are on our way, only 685,798 more to go!!

Congratulations on your first finds. Geocaching will take you to many wonderful little places that most people would never find on their own. Tree cover can really fool the GPS. Try approaching from different directions. When we get close, I like to look around for likely hiding places, rather than just following the GPS. It was Ma & Pa, who introduced us to Geocaching too.

Bob and Brenda,
It was great meeting you in Gatlinburg. We did the cache near the Post Office at the American Legion in Gatlinburg. It was a short walk from Twin Creek. Hope your trip was great! We had a wonderful time in Charleston, Savannah, and Panama City before heading on I-10 to San Antonio.
If you make it down here, give us a shout! Lots of neat caches in and around San Antonio.
Tim and Susan

Tim & Susan,
Will do. We had a great time as well in Gatlinburg. The Twin Creeks RV park was very nice and convenient to downtown. We really enjoyed meeting you as well and hope we see each other in our future trips!!!
