Check out Quartzsite
I found this on another site and thought it would be interesting for those of you that have not been to Quartzsite to see.

As those pics were from 2006, here is a pic of the small (compared to last year and what 2008 will be) Montana group camped at Quartzite in January of 2006.

Doug,
We might want to mention your website pictures do not depict where we camp! We camp in a nice quiet peaceful place, where the hum of generators will put any baby to sleep!
Only 90 days until we meet for the Quartzsite rally!!

Ouch, this is beginning to hurt. We won't be able to make it but we sure will miss seeing everyone. We love Quartzite!

Lawdy, that's a big rv show! Is there a particular weekend when that show is running or is it ongoing the whole winter?
My cousin is in the market for a used fifthwheel, possibly a Montana. Any idea where to start looking in/around Quartzsite?

Steve,
If your cousin can't find a fifth-wheel there, he should probably learn to pack a tent. There are dealers everywhere, new and used. Quartzsite is one huge barn sale. You'll see.

We were checking out the Montana's on the Paul Evert lot at Tyson Wells (near the big tent in Q) today. Most of them were filthy dirty on the exterior. I guess that haven't got around to washing them yet. But the big surprise is the ONE Anniversary Edition 3075RL model hidden down at the end.
It has the Drop Frame, large holding tanks, 66 gal water tank (according to the sticker in the kitchen cabinet), electric rear jacks, remote control front jacks and slides (they appear to be individually controlled but nobody was around to answer questions), bigger TVs, and more. Definitely worth looking at when you are here.
While the drop frame provides a larger, level storage compartment, it sure precludes hanging things under the trailer. I carry a Porta-Bote under the front, but those of you with the big PVC pipes carrying your sewer hose or ladders are in trouble too.
