Shore power/inverter issue

Hello,
So we just purchased a 2021 3763BP new. We hooked up to 50 amp and everything was fine at the campground. We came home and we have a 50 amp to 120 converter that we plug in to power our fridge and charge our batteries while we are home.

Occasionally, the fridge and other components besides the lights will not have power. I have plugged and unplugged the shore power a handful of times and nothing happens and it won’t turn the fridge back on. Finally what I had to do is cut the batteries with the kill switch and that fixed it.

The fridge does work when the inverter is turned on and we are hooked to shore power. I am just not sure if it’s because we aren’t getting enough power out of a 120 plug to charge both the batteries and power the fridge or what the deal is. It’s not tripping any breakers at the 120 plug and nothing else is being ran besides the fridge and the batteries being charged. At the moment batteries aren’t being used as I have activated the kill switch.

If you leave the battery disconnect switch in the on or closed position and have your 120 volt cord plugged in to the shore cable connection with an adapter, everything should work, charging the batteries and making the fridge work. These rigs have a smart charger and will take care of your batteries while keeping them charged.

Got it! So if I leave the disconnect on and closed, the batteries will continue to charge even though they are cut while we are plugged into 120 and also will power the fridge? Issue was is I didn't have the batteries cut before and the fridge would turn off randomly. When I cut the batteries, it stopped doing it while hooked up to 120.
