They are actually calling for a "wintery mix" Here in the Orlando , Fl area. Although it is very cold here the air is always very dry ..but there is a storm sweeping in off the gulf bringing moisture. Do the term "lake effect" means anything to you. My Florida neighor asked me what "wintery mix" meant and I told her she did not want to know.. Record low for tonite again... It is 55 degrees out.... Think I will wash the truck.

We had 75 degrees yesterday and we washed our 5th wheel, and SUV. Then decided the truck didn't need washing. Have not been driving the truck much.
This weather here beats anything in Colorado, our old home. Today it is 2 above in Parker Colorado.
Carol, wonder why those neighbors didn't want to use their fresh water tank?

I have NO Idea!! I got the feeling talking to him that they have NEVER used the onboard water system (fresh water holding tank)
They drive down here from mid Michigan and back every year. I guess that means they use public facilities ALL THE TIME!
Sorry, not to be a snot, but, that is one of the greatest things about having my home on wheels, I don't have to use the public facilities unless I CHOOSE to.
I figure it is just one of those "each to his own" type of things. Reminds me of a good friend of ours who refused to use his rig except to (excuse me oh sensitive ones) piddle in. They always used the public facilities for the other business. Some day I'll tell ya the rest of the story, the nasty sick trick we played on him.
Bingo, add more fires, we are not outta the cool spell yet, another 4 or 5 nights minimum.
Stay safe friends. And try to stay warm.

Wow! We have seen people that never use their showers or bathrooms. We use everything... that is what we paid for! So we do not have to use public facilities.
Have seen people here in this resort, high dollar class A's that use the public showers! Skinny people too. So they can't say they do it because they need more room in their RV shower. I just don't know why...

Dustytuu, We see the same thing, have never understood the reason. We have never used a RV park shower, have use the John. Some folks I guess just like the fact of more room, or more hot water. And no it doesn't matter what size or the brand of RV. We don't have a issue with room or hot water. We have great water pressure in the 5er its actually a little more pressure than our stick house. Oh by the way the rain is here in Gulf Shores area but the temp is still 45 degrees at 6:20 pm. GBY...

If there is one thing I miss when in the Montana it is the Big Bathroom and Shower of the stick house. I will on occasion go down to the C.G shower and take a nice long unlimited hot water shower in a shower I can move around in.. Many folks do the same thing. we have not yet met anyone who has said they never use their camper shower. No freeze here tonite.
