I called our dealer this morning and told him of the problem, he said he doubt Keystone would replace the cabinet front but would call them ask then call me back on Monday.
Also we went to home depot and could not come close to getting a cabinet door..all they had had square corners and the color was off a bit.
So we will just order one probably from Keystone.

Keystone sometimes steps up to the plate in unsual situations like this, Bob. This just might be one of those times...

It's obvious that this was a problem while under warranty.

I sure hope so. We are still a little shell-shocked...as this is something we never expected in all the years we have owned an RV which is since "85" The more I read about these, the more we think they were no doubt in the cabinet when we purchased the unit. I hope Keystone can at least tell us why all the cabintery was not finished and at least replace the cabinet door. We really like our Montana too!

I'm not real good with the numbers and the line of command at Keystone (last time I threatened to make a call, I inadvertantly stirred up a hornet's nest at Keystone). Rich should be along in the morning. He'll be able to point you in the right direction for sure. There also are others here that have the line of command memorized. Many of these names are on Rich's speed dial, though, I believe...

Bob,
I guess the two doors that we took out to put the fireplace in are the wrong size??
If not I have a couple of doors.

I just found this and thought it was interesting to know about the powderpost beetles:
Powerpost beetle is a term used to describe several species of small (1/8-3/4 inches long), wood-boring insects which reduce wood to a fine, flour-like powder. Damage is done by the larvae as they create narrow, meandering tunnels in wood as they feed. Infestations are discovered after noticing small, round "shotholes" in the wood surface. These are exit holes where adult beetles have chewed out of the wood after completing their development. Newly-emerged adults mate and lay eggs on or below the surface of bare (unfinished) wood. The eggs hatch into tiny larvae which bore into the wood, emerging as adults 1-5 years later, usually during April - July. Homeowners are more likely to see damage than the beetles, themselves, because the adults are short-lived and are active mainly at night
Lyctids rarely infest wood older than five years. Thus, infestations generally are encountered in new homes or newly-manufactured articles. In almost all cases, infestation results from wood that contained eggs or larvae at the time it was placed in the home. This is significant because responsibility for damage/replacement often resides with the builder, cabinet maker or furniture manufacturer rather than the homeowner. Typically, the infested article was constructed from wood which was improperly dried or stored.
