roof

I have an 2003 3670RL Montana 5th wheel. I looked on the roof this weekend to see how dirty it was and found the roofing material loose and wrinkled. Is this a problem. What needs doing to it. I'm new at this and don't have a clue. Thanks for any help

qdsb,

Our roof has a couple of bubbles and ripples along the plywood joints. I don't think it's a big deal. According to Keystone's manual this is the norm. It is a pretty large area and in the heat & cold it will shrink & expand.
If in doubt take it to your dealer so they can have a look.

Try giving Dicor Customer Service a call. I think the number is in the Keystone owners manual. They may be able to advise how to go about fixing the roof. This knowledge may help you deal with a dealer.

I also have a "little extra" material around the joints as well. Does not seem to be a problem at this point, as already stated, when in doubt ask your dealership.

I'm not positive but I heard that wrinkle along the roofing underlayment joints is for expansion so it doesn't stretch and tear the rubber. Again, I'm not sure that's correct. Small bubbles here and there would not be a problem. Big bubbles or growing bubbles would be cause for concern, in my estimation.
