MaxAir II or MaxAir FanMate?

Now that we have our new Monty 3100RL, it's time to get things added that are never addressed by the manufacturer.

We have two FanTastic Fans. Looking at MaxAir's web site, they say either cover, MaxAir II or FanMate will work, but the FanMate is specifically designed for use with the FanTastic fans.

I installed a MaxAir II over the single FanTastic fan we had on our old Monty and it worked just fine. Would be interested in hearing comments as to which is preferred. Is it really worth the extra bucks for the FanMate?

Have the MaxAir II on ours and they work fine, can't tell you about the FanMate.
