Brake Controller , Or?

Lately I have had to run the setting pretty much to the max to get the feel I'm used to with the brakes. (Prodigy control) I have no abnormal displays indicating a problem. I have checked the wiring. Last night I adjusted the brakes and still it didn't seem to make much difference.

I also tow another auto transport trailer with the same truck and controller. It too seems to show signs of diminished/erratic brake performance lately. Again, I have checked the wiring on that trailer too.

Am I experiencing signs of controller failure? Don't want to run out and buy another one just yet unless that is the likely culprit.

I would check a bit further but if you are having the same issue with two trailers, the common denomonator is the controller. I don't have a Prodigy so I can't talk to that unit. Some others might be able to offer more info.

I would call Prodigy, they may have some ideas and the Prodigy has a lifetime warranty. They used to have excellent customer service but I have no idea what it is like since Cequent bought them

Reread my post. I have. That's when I decided to make this post. Thanks for the replies. I may have found part of the problem. Haven't had a chance to test it yet. Will contact Prodigy if it doesn't help.
