graphics

Hey, Keystone! You really need to get out in front of the problem of unsightly, peeling graphics on our Montanas. This is a pretty poor advertisement for keystone, I would think, having all these shoddy looking Montanas on the road.

X's 2 on that statement, but they dont care because if they did they would have addressed it back in 2004 when most of the graffics were curling on edge.

As I recall many had the graphics replaced at no cost when they were still available. We never got a entire set but did get graphics that were going bad .Some of us have bad graphics and other never have a problem. Last time I inquired about a full set of graphics for our 06 3400 in 2012 we were told there were none available for that year.

thanks. We may have to get a set for a newer model year. I'd like to have them painted on, but I'm sure it would be prohibitively expensive.

until Keystones sales drop off don't hold your breath that they will put any serious effort in giving a good fix to a decade old problem. The last 5th wheel we had (an sob) for 11 years never had a problem with graphics. Our 05 Monty started to shrink and peel by the 3rd year, and this one cost double the old one. I guess we all learn a few lessons

I must be one of the Montes that they did a good job on the graphics on because we have little to no problems with ours. Our unit is a 2004 and we are experiencing a bit of cracking but nothing that we can actually say is severe and we are not having any curling or peeling as of this date. Our unit needs to be washed down good and waxed but as far are graphics go they are doing fine! Oh by the way, it has set out in the elements with no cover on it since it was new but it does have a new home now out at the farm.

So, just to play the devil's advocate here,

Keystone needs graphics, they choose a vendor, and I would bet that choice is based on price per unit.

The vendor needs materials to print said graphics onto, so, they choose a vendor, again, probably based on price per unit.

So, if the material is flawed, and I have heard that said (and a lot more! )

Do we keep blaming Keystone for the bad materials??

Really, how many vendors/materials are there out there?? 200?? 20?? 2?? (nope, I have NO idea how many, do not know the answer to that one).

Just asking - -

~~~~~~ Edited to correct be to bet, sighhhh ----------
I am afraid to say,but yes, you do blame keystone. just like we do when something goes wrong with our trucks. they are the ones who picked the suppliers and they should hold there feet to the fire.
keystone is ultimately responsible just as Ford, GMC, Dodge is for the product. Those of us who have been to the Fall rallies have heard year after year about the ongoing problems with Burlington Graphics and Keystones efforts to correct the problems. They finally dumped Burlington Graphics for another vendor.
