I was wondering if it would be ok if we came for a day trip. If so, what day would be a good day to come meet you all and see what a MOC rally is all about. I was thinking maybe we could get our feet wet (or dry) and learn how to prepare for the next time. This is our first trip to AZ and we will just be arriving a few days before this in Yuma. This whole snowbird thing is totally new to us so we are in a huge learning curve!

You could come by any day after it starts ( cocktail hour and appetizers starts every evening at 5PM ). But trust me, once you are there you will wish you could stay longer. We will be having a potluck one evening so maybe that would be a good time. Rich

It would not be a problem to come for a day trip and dip your feet in the water to see what this great group of people is all about. The best day to do that in my opinion would be the day of the potluck. I will be making a post in the near future with the date, time, etc. so you can plan for it if you like. If you can't make it that day, any day during the rally would be good to meet the majority of people attending.

r,
Jack

Thanks! That would be great! I'll be looking for the agenda and we'll plan a visit on potluck day! If I can talk DH into planning a couple of day stay, I'll do my best!

We have one member who after much cajoling, agreed to come for two days ("we don't boondock" was their mantra). Two weeks later they left only because they had to be elsewhere.

Give us two days to convince you this is the best camping adventure you will experience!

Jack:

It looks like Jim and I are not going to make it this year - we have some things that just have to be taken care of and won't manage to do so before we would need to leave for Q. Sorry we are going to miss this amazing event.
