Exhaust Fans???
OK, time to clean my exhaust fans. How do I get the bathroom fan screen off to clean or do I have to go on roof to clean the fan blades and enclosure???

There should be some screws around the outside of the housing when you look up at it, take these out and the sleeve will come down letting you clean off the screen and the inside of the cap and fan blades. This is how I used to do it with my old TT.

Sue cleaned them with soapy water and a rag, in place. The side window, and door screens as well. They look great.
Duh! just read O.P. sorry, but anyway, that is how she cleaned the screens.
(I meant I was stupid for not reading the post corectly, the Duh! was for me.) I'm sorry for the unclear post.

Drop the decorative housing by removing the four screws. Remove the crank by removing its screw. There will then be two more screws to remove. One on each side. They're way up in there so you have to look hard. A flashlight helps. Once those are out, remove the screen housing. If this is the bathroom vent with the exhaust fan, you have to disconnect the electrical wires from the switch, too. You can take the screen to the kitchen sink to clean (or take it outside) and can access the fan blades to clean them, too.
We've done this a few times on ours. When you remove the decorative housing, note that it is probably taller on one side than the other to match up to the ceiling. You'll need to note that for reinstallation. It's not hard to figure it out if you forget to take note during disassembly.
