Well, it looks like after a lot of discussion, to keep all of the amenities that Montana owners look for in a Montana these days, it is very difficult to get under 35'. The new 3160RL proved to have the features we were looking for in a new fifth wheel, and Jason Gill (now responsible for the Montana line) listened to us even before they finished the designs. We do have to put one slide out to get to the fridge, but everything else is accessible that we needed. I no longer need to put up the TV, move recliners or run a generator to watch TV when boon docking. We are anxious to get out and about in our new 3160, after the snow melts off of the top.

Ron I have to ask how you are able to watch TV with out using the generator while boondocking. Have you installed an inverter? My 3160 RL has three TV's but I thought they were all 110 volt TV's. I finally found the antenna booster/12v plug behind the TV in the bedroom. I figure I could use one of my small inverters to power it. Both stereo's seem to be 12v and the outside one plays DVD's if I remember correctly. The bluray player is also 110.
The real reason we got this model is because it was the shortest that had the amenities we wanted.

Sorry Ron I just saw on your signature your inverter. If you have any info or pictures of its install I would love to see them. I think you got the best satellite dish system, that is also the one I want.
