TP, again
This topic was discussed at length a few weeks ago. I bought some Angel Soft TP to see if it is a good as everyone says. Then I tested it and compared to Scott single ply. If you don't insist on double ply paper, Scott starts to dissolve faster in water than Angel Soft. And it comes in 1000 sheet rolls, so each roll lasts longer.

I hate single ply! By the time you are through folding it over on itself it becomes double ply.
May as well just slap your finger against a rock!

I feel it is important to use on your vital parts, what you want to use.
There have been so many times this has been brought up.
HERE IS THE SECRET!!!!!!!!!
You need something to break up the paper and the other stuff.
After you drain the tank and flush, close the valve, go inside and fill the bowl with water, add LAUNDRY SOAP, about the amount you would use to wash a large load of cloths.
The action of the soap on paper and the other stuff is amazing.
Remember it is not a high suds producer.
It works!!
PS next time at the store just buy a cheap bottle of laundry soap.

OK.............. Thanks for that visual, Wayne...
We use Scott single ply and works OK for us after almost 2 years of FTing. I have never used Angel Soft, but I'm sure that is fine, too. I think there are less trips to the store, though, with Scott.

I've never before heard of doing the water test by just letting it sit in water but I suppose that makes some sense. I always shook the container to see how quickly it dissolves. I haven't tried the Scott's but the Angel Soft was very fast to dissolved and dissolved so completely when I poured the solution down the drain through the drain strainer there was no residue remaining.
I'll try the static water test sometime, though, since when the rig is sitting still the tank contents are not being shook up.
