Montana Water Pumps Question

Just bought a 2018 3121RL and wondering what type of water pump Montana uses for their Fifth wheels? If anyone should happen to know, I was going to remove the panel in the basement but it has been a little too cold to mess with it.

Our rig originally came with a Flojet pump, which has since been replaced.

Yuck, I will have to get my new Shurflo 4008 in there over the summer, that pump is great pulled it out of our last 5th wheel when we traded and put factory pump in the old trailer.

These Shurflo’s are quiet, have a smooth operation and great pressure but the aks for the info

Water pump stays on

Not exactly related to your post but does anyone know if a 2019 3731 has a pressure or accumulator tank for fresh water?

I finally figured out how (moved lever to fill and pumped in water, then moved lever back) to transfer water from jugs to the fresh water tank and put in 15 gallons for use where I store it; tank level showed 1/3. I turned on the pump, checked kitchen and bath faucets and had water flow. Turned off all faucets and pump stayed on for over a minute. Turned off pump and checked around inside and out for any water on the ground or open valve. Found none. Turned pump back on and it stayed on for over a minute so I turned it off. Tank level now shows 0. About an hour later I turned on a faucet (with pump off) and had flow. Flushed toilet and had flow.

I dont want to burn up the water pump. Compared to my old Jayco, whose pump would stop within a few seconds of the faucet being closed, this one just keeps running, for at least as long as I can stand to let it.

In the back of your rig there will be a white tube with a cap on it. If the cap is missing everything you put in will come out there. If the tank has water and the pump still continues to run then you probably have a connection loose on the back of the convienence center and the pump is sucking some air.

My fault on this one; didn't give hot water side enough time to blow out all the air after started seeing water.
