Silver Springs, Florida
It is so nice to be in Central Florida... There are a lot of MOC'ers that travel through this area and last night we were surprised by a visit from Nita and Al (Coachpotatoes). It was great seeing them again, even for just a short time.
If any of you are in the area for an overnight, until our park lots are sold out, it is a Passport America park with great rates. Once the lots are all sold, there will still be sites up front for some overnighters and some rental cabins and park models.

Helen and Bill,
It was so nice seeing you both! Your lot is beautiful, and it is such a nice park. Wish we could have planned this stop ahead of time and visited longer, maybe next time. Enjoy your winter and that new golf car!

Ocala (right next to Silver Springs) is my wife's hometown. It is a beautiful area. Enjoy your time there. However, I must admit now that we're living in Alaska we sure don't miss that hot, humid weather!!

Ironically Icehouse, one of our neighbors that just bought a lot here is from Alaska.... They sold everything there (home in Anchorage, two cabins on the Kanai and a couple of condo's... They are regretting not keeping one of the cabins because they say that now they don't have any place to go back to.... Nice people, even though they have an Everest.

Wow! I will always come back to Alaska. We are getting ready to live in Northern Alberta for a few years, but when we leave, we will come back to Alaska. This is where my heart is now. I regret for your neighbors not having kept one of the cabins. Enjoy yourselves and have a safe & Happy Thanksgiving!!
