How to access air conditioner from inside?

Howdy all. I have a 2013 3150RL and for the life of me I can't figure out how to access the air conditioner from the inside. The drop ceiling goes all the way across the rig with no return register on the inside where the AC unit is on the outside. I would expect a panel on the inside for a return ducting and access to the bolts that hold the unit on, but its just flat ceiling. Do I really have to tear the ceiling apart? Luckily its working well at the moment but I'm curious if anyone has had to replace their unit given a similar setup, and how you went about doing it, thanks!

If like mine, no access from inside. Take the cover off and you will see the unit is secured directly on to the roof with lag bolts.

They are accessed by the roof. Take the cover off (on the roof).

If you have a standard Coleman type A/C it should have a plenum on it. That is the cover (inside the trailer on the ceiling) that can be removed. Usually just clips on. Then you can access the inside where the 2 channels are located (one is the return, one is the out. This is the the thing that is holding that sponge material air filter. If yours is completely ducted with no plenum, than the only way to access the under side is by removing it from the roof.

As stated above, they are anchored down on the roof.

Here's a link to a bunch of YouTube videos that you will find helpful. Watch a couple of them and you'll get the idea what "should" be done for customary "maintenance" on them. And yes, "more" is not good. If it is working and working fine, don't mess it.

Thanks to you both! I'll take a peek up top but its not giving me any trouble so I'll leave it be at the moment. Hopefully this thread can answer someone else's question down the road.

Might be good to clean the coils, I do mine annually - from the top
