Lippert auto-level screen is blank

Our Lippert auto-level system screen is blank . . . the on/off switch will turn on the little green light but the screen readout is blank. Anyone have a similar problem? cure ?

Sounds like you may have a dead screen you can try unplugging it and check for 12 volts
to it and some times they will reset if not you need to call Lippert or your dealer.

If the reboot does not work, Lippert customer service good about telephonic troubleshooting. If you need a new control pad, don't go to your dealer, you can buy direct from Lippert or on Amazon. Simple install.

Try unplugging and spraying some Di-Electric Grease Compound to both connections this has worked for me. I also us it on the trailer connections to insure good connection to tow vehicle and trailer.

Maybe it’s me but I’m on my third control panel.one went blank, the buttons on some functions quit working. The third one works great. I keep a spare in my tool bag just in case it goes bad.
The next time I stow the unit I will plug the old one back in and put the new one away until our next trip

Thanks for all the input folks !!
Come to find out the batteries (2) only had 7 volts (the panel runs off of the batteries?) . . . I was confused with the converter charger doing its job ? So I turned off the battery bypass switch and then reset the converter breaker (just for grins), it came back to life and the converter now shows 13.5 volts and the panel then came back to life.
I am still confused as to why the battery shut off switch had to be turned off and then why the batteries were not charging properly ?
By the way the battery read out on the in-house panel said the batteries were fully charged ? !! even when I disconnected them ? ? . . . mysteries we were never told about when we got our Monty 3811RL. Trial and error here I'm afraid . . .

If the battery disconnect switch in the convenience center is "disconnected" (whatever position that is that allows the key to be removed) then the batteries and not being charged by the converter (if connected to shore power). There is a still a draw on the batteries, even when disconnected, which will deplete the charge over time.

The in-house panel is checking the voltage of the common buss. If the converter is on, there will be 13.4 volts on the buss whether the batteries are connected or not. Turn off the converter for 15 minutes to get a more accurate indication of the battery voltage (12.7V or less).

It sure seems like we are see way too many of the Lippert Touch Screens failing as more of the Level Up Systems are in use. Any ideas?

You are probably right, but that's sad, you buy one of these trailers and you need reliability!
