If no one says anything else about the "window" it is all clear to me now..

Sorry that I had you running in circles. I meant to come back in and post that I didn't have a window treatment on my side of the bed, but that I thought that I should have a window and a treatment. The kennel was busy yesterday

We looked at the 3400 in 2004 and almost bought it then. I believe it had three windows in the bedroom as Carol posted.

When I looked at the 3600 in Fort Myers it had three bedroom windows in it. That is the reason I asked about the number of windows. I wasn't thinking about the wardrobe.

At least I had you thinking about other things than if your wheels are torqued, toilet flushing etc

Again sorry for the confusion I created. I won't mention a window treatment or missing window again.....promise. Well maybe on April Fools in 2007

We guys do not need a whole lot of help getting confused and running in circles, Colleen. We just need a gentle push and we just take off. W/o gals to guide us, we're kinda like a boat w/o a rudder - don't know where we're going, but we're making good time...

All confusion was self-made. Not your fault.

sambea, there's a 'for sale' section at the bottom of the forum page. It would be a good place to list your trailer for sale. Sorry you're selling so soon.

Judy, I may consider them more like "words of personal experience"... I know Cheryl would.

Sam and Bea, hope everything's alright? If there is anything we can do, don't hesitate to ask.

The 3400RL has never had a window on the left side of the bed. It has always been the wardrobe wall. =)

I have been without internet access for 4 days. I got the best laugh of the day reading this thread. Abbott and Costello had nothing compared to this. Since the 3400 is only a few years old, I don't think there is a model with a fake window. The armoire (it is not a wardrobe) is on the left as you face the bed and a small window on the right as you face the bed. The 2004, 2005 were that way and I believe the 2006. What changes were made for the 2007 we have yet to see. Perhaps a fake window was ordered by a protential customer and then they didn't buy. We believe that is how we have 2 batteries.
Happy trails.............................

Hi all.... we have been in the boon docks up in Canada (up by Timmons where Shina Twain is from) fishing for the past almost 2 weeks (got lots and lots of big fish and had fun ) and I am trying to catch up on the board. Couldn't believe how long this thread was!!!! We have the 2005 3400rl and we have only one window in the bedroom slide, the right side is just a blank wall. Also one big window over the dresser. I think last time I posted I was getting ready to put up a wallpaper boarder, well I took down the old (UGLY) one and the new one is up and I love it, thanks for all the help on how to do it. I am now finishing the new quilt for the bed and new curtains to match and of course the headboard. I will be ready to have it seen at the open-house at the fall rally. After being gone for only 2 weeks I may never get caught up on the board, lots of new people!

On the 3400 design saga: Our 2006 has the window on the right of the bed, and a wardrobe on the left, if you are meaning a closet in which to hang clothes. We have drawers under the TV on the left of the main closet (4 deep ones); and a 6 drawer dresser at the foot (or nearly so) of the bed. The wardrobe/closet is part of the slide... It is narrower than what is in the 2004 3295's, but sufficient, since that's what we have to compare it with. Hope that helps answer those who are trying to get a picture of the layout...

Happy Trails

I want to correct my comment about the window in the bedroom, our window is on the left side of the bed if you are in the bed, the side that is in the front of the RV. I didn't want to get another 17 pages of this thread having someone think that our 3400 RL is the ONLY one with a window on that side. The closet is on the other side right next to the shower. Sorry for any confusion I may have caused......

Parrothead,

I have gotten a chuckle out of the response to my question and the confusion that I caused when I posted about the window treatment. I am glad that everyone has had at least one grin out of the thread.

I know that I have two windows in my 3400RL, one on his side of the bed and a blank wall on mine. Another exit window is above the dresser.

Rogersuemegan,

I don't know I think the confusion had people grinning and scratching their heads for a little while. The first 14 pages of the thread was alot of work on my part. I have enjoyed the last three pages

Dear hubby views it as some place that I can store more stuff. He keeps reminding me that I have to watch the weight in the Monty. Is he talking about the things that I am adding to it or my weight

Now that is a thought if I can get back into a size eight clothes then I can put more things in the cargo area.......oh shucks I guess I will have to pull some things out of the armoire. I haven't been in an eight since 7th grade

Happy 4th of July to all.

Me too! You should have bought a dually and then you don't have to worry so much about weight.

Driftwoodgal, I just asked our salesman about yellowing and he said the non-high gloss will yellow with time and exposure but the high gloss will not. I can't tell you from personal experience if that's accurate but our 2003 3295RK has seen yellowing of the dryer vent and the range hood vent but the sides (high gloss) are still plenty white. This Montana has never been covered. Our next one will have the high gloss, also, but I still think this is a personal preference item.

Steve,

When you mention the high gloss VS the non-high gloss are you refering to the gel coat? Which do you have on your Monty?

Thanks.
