Electric Service?
Last weekend I made a pot of coffee in the kitchen and the electric service went out to the plug. I checked the circuit breakers and all are on and no fuses are blown. The overhead light is dead and the outside plug is dead.
Any ideas on where to check?
I was at a state park and several times the breaker at the plug went out. Only the air and a few lights were on. When I got home and plugged in the outlets and overhead light were still dead.

You're outlets are protected with Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCI). Usually there is just one in a circuit so check each outet you'll probably find the GFCI has been tripped.

We had a major problem when one whole side of the street side plugs went out. We checked everything including the GFCI plugs. When we got back from vacation we took it to our dealer and the wires were cut under the trailer. Don't know exactly where but they said that it was that black thing that we were having trouble keeping up that is right under the entertainment slide. After they fixed the black harness and the wires we haven't had any problems since. Hope it isn't as major as ours was....Take care.

Here is a second vote for Kathi's problem. The main wire to the entertainment slide was positioned is such a way that it was caught on the grounding connection from the fridge when the slide was in and stuck on the bolt threads. When I powered up the trailer the GFIC would pop out and would not reset. Had to make some repairs and adjusted the way the wire was positioned with electrical tie wraps so it would not contact the ground connection again.

He was right on the mark. I went through the RV checking outlets and found the GFI tripped in the bathroom. As soon as I reset it the other circuits came on. The GFI was on the right side while the other outlets were on the left side.
Thanks for the knowledge available here.
