Wow, what a wild ride. It looks like the driver was doing an quite remarkable job keeping between the guard rails. Hope that they had seat belts on. I wonder how it all got started? I think we tend to think of 5th wheels as being rock solid as compared to travel trailers which was probably true before the huge increase in weight and center of gravity.

Even scarier if you grab the drag bar and watch in very slow motion. First frame it is actually leaning over the center barrier. And the slides are going in and out as it swerves back and forth. Would be interesting to know the outcome.

Me thinks speed was partially at fault.

I was just relooking at it and if you look close you can see that the fifthwheel has tilted over so much that the TV drivers side bed rail is crushed. Was able to read the brand, it's a Rockwood, wish I could make out the TV brand and size.
Agreed with max Tail wagging the Dog.

Grill looks like an older model Chevy/GMC maybe. Definitely SRW. I hadn't noticed the bed rails crushed.

Having lost the TV driverside rear wheel (SRW) while towing the monty at 60MPH on the PA Turnpike I am alive today because I ONLY used the manual overide on the brake controller to get the rig undercontrol and over to the side of the road. thought we had a tire blowout until once on the side of the road I touched the TV brakes and the back end of the truck slammed down to the ground. Even the state trooper asked why we weren't dead!
