Electrical Issues

So I have a 2001 Montana that so far I have been happy with. I got it used of course but now I have an issue. Last night the receptacle next to the stove was working but this morning it is not. I have checked all the breakers and fuses and they all seem to be on and have power but it is a mystery to me. I also have a fan/light in the living room that is now not working and the outside receptacle is also not working and the undercabinet light is not working. Could these be wired together on the same circuit or could the inverter/converter be bad. I looked at the wiring under the stove and it appears that most of the circuits go up the wall. I have been looking for a possible wiring diagram for my model but have had no luck it's a 3575RL...Any help will be appreciated as I don't want my family staying in it till i get it fixed.

Sounds like a GFCI tripped.

The receptacle next to the stove and the outside receptacle are likely part of the GFCI circuit. I would check the master GFCI receptacle in the bathroom and ensure it hasn't tripped.

The fan/light in the living room is on a separate circuit controlled by the paddle switch in the panel with all the other switches. The paddle switch has to be on along with the pull chain switch on the fan/light for them to work.

The under cabinet light is likely also on a separate circuit as a GFCI for this doesn't make sense. It might be a bulb or a socket issue.

There are no wiring diagrams for Montanas. This forum is a better source of wiring information than what you can get from Keystone.

GFCI is definitely a strong possibility and the first place to look.

It is also possible you have lost one leg of the 50 amp power. The incoming 50 amp power of Montana's of that era were wired differently from later models. Someone (Carl maybe) posted a picture of one (2002 or 2003 as I remember) some time ago. If you are comfortable troubleshooting live 120 vac look for your main circuit breaker(s). If I remember correctly the one mentioned above actually had a 30 amp breaker and a 20 amp breaker, so technically it was not a full 50 amp service. And the one mentioned had burned wires in that breaker area.

I have the same year. IN the Bathroom sink area there is an outlet with the GFI. Reset the outlet. If it has not failed completely you should be OK.

GFCI

Thanks everyone, I did check the GFCI in the master and it was still working however, I did not take it out to check and see if the load side was working. I did not see a Main breaker on my system it was just the 20 amp circuit breakers and then the fuses for the 12v system. I did have a 30 and 20 under the stove that was labeled washer and generator. I will test each leg of the service as i have no issue with live power. Thanks again it gives me more areas to do a possible check.
