Issues with my Montana 3701lk
Anybody see this before?
Here's a picture of the wall between my closet and my washer and dryer, it is bulged out on both sides.
It is a new 2018 3701LK. On my first trip from CA to tx

rather disconcerting - think it is heat and moisture issue?

Looks like some flexing going on. The wood panels may be to tight a fit.

Looks like a lack of framing behind the wall panel. To me it seems like there is no support and if anything was loaded on that hanging rod, the weight simply pulled it down and bowed it out.
just my 2 cents.

Is your washer dryer installed with the front leg clamps to hold in place? Sure looks like the unit could have bounced against the wall if not secured to the floor.

Mine done the exact same thing! Took it back in for repair, and the wall panel was cut too long, causing it to bow. Dealer removed and trimmed about 3/4" off and reinstalled. Have had NO issues since that time.

I had that on my 2018 3121RL had to replace all the wood in the front closet, dealer who did the work replaced everything and now it’s is fine. We never installed a washer or dryer it came that way when we bought it new in 2-2018

We have same unit, 2018 too No washer or dryer, but ours bulged as well but not as bad ours due to no support inside the walls
I blamed ours on poor design and workmanship Good luck

Got the same problem. Walls started moving in and out right away.
Water leak detected must of been the drain plug on washer wasn't tight from their installation.
We have same year and model as you to many issues to discuss.

Just today my trim inside the main door did the same thing. Bowed out 3” in the middle. I ended up cutting off a half an inch at the bottom floor level. Then the trim snapped right back. I’m sure the cheap partial board trim just expanded once we got up north where it’s damp and cold everyday . Just trim a small strip out of the top or bottom to correct their assembly issues.

We have a Montana Mountaineer 2010. It's the hickory edition. Has the washer/dryer cabinet in the right front with the 2 glass slidding closet doors to the left. The washer dryer cabinet had 2 shelves resting on 1 by 2" braces stapled to the vanier wall. We initially used it for storage. The staples started letting go and the vaneer bowed into the closet. I installed a solid hickory 1 by 6" board on the closet side from the floor to the ceiling right where the slidding glass door hits that wall. I relocated the plastic catches for the slidding glass door and attached them to the new board. Then I took all of the braces for the wall and screwed them to the new board. Then re-nailed the vaneer to the braces. It is now a solid wall.

Do you travel with some roof top vents open?

If you're asking me, No, never. In 10 years maybe forgot to close the bathroom vent until the next stop twice. But never intentionally.

I usually leave the bathroom vent open a little bit when traveling for ventilation and have never had a problem.

I do leave mine open while traveling. We have done that on my last 4 coaches without any issues at all. Mine are open pretty close to all year around, it helps to keep an even temp between inside and outside when not in use. But I DO have vent covers on mine also.

We had this happen on our new 2018 3791RD! It was repaired by our dealer. He said the factory cuts the panels a little too long then bouncing down the road buckles it.
