Tank drain valve

I just got my new Montana 3120RL and was wondering if there is a 2nd valve for the gray tank? My other trailer was a 2015 305RL HC and there was a valve near the axel under the slide on drivers side but on the new trailer I can only find the one in the hookup center. One Black and One gray.

The kitchen gray tank valve is located in the same location as was with your 305RL. I have a 3121RL and we found it by feel as I couldn't see it laying on my back under the camper.

My unit was mfg. in December 2017 and it has the kitchen tank drain valve in front of the axle. A quick way to determine if the dealer really knows what he is taking about is to make sure the shower gray tank is empty and put a few gallons of water down the kitchen sink. Then open the gray tank valve in the hook up center. If water comes out, the dealer may be right. If not then you have a second valve hidden under the camper. Wish you luck.

Thanks that is a good idea maybe add some food color to the sink and see what comes out, I have a clear dumper tube connection. I looked all over the drivers side and can't find a valve.

Take a look to see if there is a hole near your axles as the handle may have fallen off during transport.

I have never seen a single pull handle open the valves of 2 separate tanks together before. Cant see how that would work anyway. Either you are missing something or like stated they did not put it in or it fell out.

Agree with beeje they don't a single pull handle to do 2 valves at the same time.

My 5th wheel is much older, but that's exactly what happened on my Galley tank handle. It's located between the tires under the living room slide. It broke in the open position.

I'm new here and new to Montana and I'm confused. I looked at the specs (we have the 2018 3121RL as well) on the brochure and then went to Keystone, and gray water is listed as 88 gallons. It only lists the one. What am I missing?

We have a 2018 3121RL and I can assure you there is a second gray tank valve just above the axles. Mine even has a sticker indicating its location. One thing that may make it easier to find is to put your slide out. I had trouble finding it at first even though I knew where it was supposed to be. Now I go right to it and pop it open as soon as we set up.

The brochure is misleading. It is correct that the gray water capacity is 88 gallons. By saying that one could imply there is a single tank of that capacity. But there aren't. There are two tanks, one for the shower and one for the galley which, combined, equals the 88 gallon capacity.

agree with others, you have 2, an 88 gallon tank would be something. My SOB had a threaded pull handle that would fall off occasionally, then I bought a small bottle of blue Loctite, problem solved, keep looking

i also have 2018 3121RL I had a hard time find it the first time also. When the side out is in, I still have a hard time find and I know where it is. It is not user friendly.

Right next to the jack.

Little off the subject, check your gas line that goes to the the side out. On ours, the rubber hose was bent 90 + deg. I had the dealer install a 90 deg fitting.
Others have had the same issue.

That 88 gallons the 2 tanks con-bind. They are 44 gallons each.

Which tank is measured by the lights in the control panel where you check various levels?

All of them should have a lighted level indicator.

How inconvenient is that. Crawl under the camper to drain the 2nd grey tank!
Might as well leave it open all the time. Any thoughts on leaving it open?

2nd gray water tank handle location

We just moved into our 2018 3120rl. The galley handle is in front of the jack and above the sewer drain connection.

We are to find the exact capacity of each gray tank. I understand the total is 88 but would like to know the exact amount they each hold. Does anyone have specifics rather than assumptions?
