Any interesting outdoor grilling solutions?

Perhaps some models of Montana come with an outdoor kitchen, but our 3950BR did not.

Has anyone done any interesting customizations on a grill?

I was thinking maybe a swing out grill on the rear hitch of the Montana?

Then maybe run a propane line back to it off the main tanks?

I do a lot of grilling (mostly gas on the road), but portable grills are dirty and depending on the model quite heavy.

Any interesting mods?

We have an outdoor kitchen on ours. It’s nice, I guess, but nothing exciting. It comes with a two burner gas cook stove, and is very small. The gas line is not permanently attached, you have to plug the hose in once the slide is out. A refrigerator would have been nice, but comes with a beverage cooler. Some people thinks it a refrigerator. I grill a lot, but always have to carry my heavy greasy nice grill. A nice mod with a functional nice grill would be a great idea. Probably have to be bumper or receiver mounted?

Never was interested in any of the outdoor kitchen models of bunk house floor plans. I have taken the legs off of our baby Traeger and will use it a top of a picnic table. Have become too attached to smoked brisket and ribs.

We have a Q / BBQ & a gas fire pit and a 12' hose with a 30gl tank that we use all the time works great for us!

We use a Char-Broil infrared gas grill, lightweight and easy to store. Works great for most things except large pieces of meat that need to be slow cooked as in brisket. It is called a Char-Broil Grill-2-Go Tru Infrared Gas Grill.

I have a baby Q and a firepit also. However, I removed the regulators from both and use the Propane Quick Connect on the trailer. Now I don't have to carry an extra propane tank.
I store the BBQ in the front storage and that way I don't get any smells into the trailer.

They invented pellet grills.
https://www.traegergrills.com/

once their patent expired others have come in.

I am sure you can find one to fit in your basement

We. Use a GMG MOUNTED ON THE drawer SLIDE OUT works great. That was one of the best upgrades we have done

Lenny I'm going to plumb it with black pipe from the tee on the street side around the drop frame to the curb side with a disconnect for the BBQ & fire pit.

Thumbs up

PNW Fireguy jeffba

Using Green Mountain Davey Crockett. Traeger is at home.

Plus these are electric so no propane required.

Kevin,

I keep it fairly simple by carrying my grill in a tub in the garage and the gas in another tub. For bigger outings with more people I carry a heavy 3 burner grill. I would rather not have the grill real close to the rig that would get the smell inside.

Hi Jim, our Monty is in getting a new flex Armor roof, as soon as it is finished I will post pics of my gmg on the slide. Just a side note the gym can operate on 12 volt or use the 110 adaptor, which are both in the basement
