Hey Y'all from Georgia :-)))))

Hello Y'all,

we just picked up yesterday our new Montana HC 305RL.
This is our first time 5th wheel experience and on the first 60mls it has been already a joy to drive (compared to our Travel Trailer)
Maneuvering into the first campspot was little challenge but a success

It was quite surprising how much stuff we could fit into our old Cruiser RV Viewfinder. We failed to place all things straight in the new 5th wheel.

Anyone in the area in need for a real dealer with people having their heart in the RV business: www.northgaterv.com
So great to deal with them.

Here some pictures from the change over.

Looking forward to learn and contribute in this forum.

Mike

Welcome from Chattanooga. We are in our 3rd Montana and all were bought new from Billy and staff at NGRV. Best dealer in the country and will treat people every way but wrong.

Welcome to the Montana family. It is amazing just how much "stuff" can be accumulated in a RV over time. Have a great time in your new 5th.

Thank You for your welcome

The first shake down was quite a success - no damages !
Also as we did start with the non slider B&W Companion in our short bed the rear window and cabin of our Mega Cab is still intact and did not come close to a kiss from the Monty.
At the moment I am on the edge getting a Slider or not. I just do not want to handle the weight getting it out of the bed and I keep some weight reserves as we are only 460lbs below drive axle limits.

Our weight protocol at least shows that we are well in our limits

The view from our spot was very nice and we start enjoying all those windows in the 305RL at the back.

We luckily could get the combo also in our drive way. This was a concern with the Standard Companion hitch as I had to turn in our cul de sac.
The slope is too steep to unhitch the Monty so we have to figure out now where to maintain, clean, load etc.. always something

Thanks,
Mike
