New Member-New Toy !

Greetings to all,
We're Mike and Angie from Daleville, Va. We just traded in our Open range 393RLS for a new 3850FL Montana. We immediately took it on a shake down run to Charleston, SC. O M G !!!! That is for both the RV and the Charleston campground and area. We cannot begin to say how wonderful the 3850 is. The comfort level was like that of putting on that wonderful ol' pair of jeans. Needless to say, we fell in love with her. No major shakedown issues except the sliding door between the bath and bedroom broke off the track during travel.
Seven great days in Charleston and a great stay at James Island County Park Campground in a wonderful Montana fifth wheel.
Can you tell we loved our new "Baby?"

Mike

Congratulations!
That’s a really nice unit. There is at least one family on here who has just ordered that model, maybe more. Welcome to a great Montana forum. You’ll find nearly everything you need to know right here on this forum. Happy travels!

We have a 2014 3850FL Big Sky on order and hope to accept delivery around Halloween. Ironically, our first planned trip is at Thanksgiving to Charleston, SC as well. We will be staying at the Mount Pleasant KOA north of town. Curious about the sliding door coming off of the track, was the strap at the upper corner fastened or perhaps forgotten? There are a couple of us here on the forum that ordered the same units and I learned tonight they will be rolling off of the production line Oct. 7th and 8th and heading for the paint shop. Congratulations on your new rig!
