Thanks MOC

At long last, our summer vacation is here. We leave tomorrow morning for Point Sebago in Casco, Maine for a 7 night trip. I've been reading this forum since we bought our new-to-us Montana back in March. I have heeded the advice of the sage old veterans such as ArtnMarge, John Kohl, SReigle, DQDick, NCFischers, and Bingo as well as many, many others here. You have helped me when I couldn't unhitch the trailer the night I brought it home (thanks John), again when I had difficulty installing the PI HW-50C EMS, and advised me when, due to budget concerns, was unable to replace these ticking time bombs (Marathons), by helping me to at least select a tire monitoring system so I'll know if/when all Hell breaks loose. Just by reading the forum, I have gained so much knowledge on the little things I wouldn't have even thought of before. I'm not new to camping, but this is a whole new ballgame for me. Thanks to the MOC, I believe we're ready to roll. This isn't our first trip in the Montana, but it feels like it. There have been a couple of weekenders already. But a week-long trip to Maine is our high water mark for this year. Thanks to all of you on this great website. You have all been informative as well as entertaining. There couldn't be a better bunch of helpful, friendly folks anywhere.

Yes sir, there are some pretty smart fellows around here, worth their weight in gold! Like you , I consider myself lucky to have found such a treasure trove of valuable information. As far as heading out on your big trip for the year all I can say is, I hear you Man! Today is the first day of our 2 month trip up through the Rocky's so I share your excitement, that's why I'm up at zero dark thirty reading the MOC forum, now if I could only get the wife and the doggies up , we could leave now, Lol. Good luck and safe travels, hope you have a most excellent adventure maybe we'll meet up somewhere down the road.

Even tho we no longer have our Montana, I've stayed a member here because it's the Friendliest most informative RV Forum on the Web. You don't find the Flaming and down right nasty folks that's on many of the other Forums. So I say, "Carry on MOC"
