Site down, or your computer????

If you run into this dilemma:
http://www.downornot.com/paypal

Just select your site you are trying to get to.

If I saw that message I would turn and run (cancel whatever I was trying to do). What is that? And why is it okay that I just click on any of those sites that I should trust it? I have so many safeguards about trusted sites why would I want another and why is this one needed, too?

LOL!!! I love your honesty.

Okay then, I would NOT click on any business in the list because you don't know if this site is intercepting things and what they are doing with the information. Do you agree?

See the list of links on their home page. Soft porn, illegal downloading, "another-name-for-kitty-chan...?"

No clickie, no shirtie... Pattie no clickie on any of those! Too dangerous.

Which one is YOUR favorite, Jim....??

P.S. Note to admins... If you're going to use a word filter, have it substitute funny stuff for naughty words. "****" is so unimaginative!

Actually what happened was I tried Tinypics about 5 times in a row, it was down for some reason, I didn't know if it was my computer or what. So I 'googled' 'Is this site down' and this deal popped up. It said Tinypic wasn't down. I figured i would share the site, not knowing I would be grilled like a Cheeseburger. (Just joking Art..)
That is the story, and I'm sticking with it!

OK... All the links are just bookmarks for checking the up-or-down status. Just thought I'd check. But the page-loading thingie kept on going after I tried a couple of safe ones. That probably means the site is collecting info on you and seeing what sites you're interested in. Then that data goes to Google or the White House (they both want to know where you surf).

Well done, Jim? Love ya, big guy!
