First trip

Well, we have owned our Montana since September and finally managed to get away for a night. Since it was a last minute trip, my DH did not want to pack up our dogs kennels. I kennel my dogs at night. Now, picture this...two labs and a pit bull and the size of the bed in the Montana. Since the dogs really had no idea what to do with themselves, and all tried to sleep on the bed with us, I, the wife, ended up sleeping on the pull out couch with the labs and my DH with the other dog in the bed. Never mind I have been dreaming about my comfy memory foam topper. I lay there thinking, who was the idiot who didn't want to bring the kennels and why am I the idiot sleeping on our oh-so-comfy pull out bed?

Overall, I enjoyed our time away, I just thought I'd share the laugh I have been having at myself.

You will (1) always remember this trip, and (2) forever have a campfire story in which you will always have the last word!

That was a great story, thanks. Glad you finally got to get out with the Monty. Can't wait to hear how the next trip goes (kennels and all)!

Nope, kennels will not work in the Montana any more. The "puppies" are now used to beds and couches - and they will say, "NO MORE KENNELS!"

The four of us sleep on our king bed. Me, DW, 70lb Lab and 19 lb furr ball, (cat). Some night there is not much sleeping going on, BUT, we wouldn't trade it for the world......Ya gotta love the kids. Waynem is right. NO MORE KENNELS FOR THEM!!!! Thanks for sharing this story, I loved it..........
