New owners

Hi. We're Dean n Joni and we recently purchased a 3670. This is our first 5th wheel and so far we are really enjoying it. I pull it with a 99' F250 V-10, 4x4. It seems to be doing great so far. Are there any cocerns we should know about? Hopefully we'll meet some of you sometime. Keep on Campin' IowaRVer.

Welcome! We are new to the forum and also the new owners of a 3400 (next week delivery). We are south of Spencer by Webb so close to you! Maybe we'll see you 'round the Lakes. So far I have heard about the remote thermostat and getting the surround sound to work. Also checking to make sure the miracle vent lid doesn't stick. Seems like a lot of the Montana owners are putting a foam topper on their mattresses.

Welcome to the MOC IowaRVer! We are just south west of you a little bit as well. We like to camp up around the lakes and have been staying at Scharnberg park west of Spencer a lot this summer. Maybe we'll see you around this fall as well.

The only concern I can think of is paying for the ga$$$. We have a V-10 also. I made the mistake of putting all terraine Wrangler tires on it and evidently lost about 3 mpg as soon as I did. I thought I did my "research" but I guess I was on the wrong forum !! Oh well, I bet I can pull that Montana ANYWHERE - even off road !!!

IowaRVer,
Happy to hear you're enjoying your 3670 Montana. I know it is a long way but why not break that rig in proper by joining us at the Second Annual MOC Rally being held this year in Reno, NV. There are a couple of folks coming from that part of the country. Perhaps you could join one or more of them and caravan out to the Rally.

Anyway..... some of the nicest folks are out there just waiting to meet you. Welcome to the MOC and Happy Trails.

Welcome, Dean and Joni! We used to tow this Montana with a '99 F350 V10. It did a great job.

Awesome good chioce of a unit. We love our 3670. Our Ford pulls it just fine. Here's hoping we don't have to get a government subsidy to drive them. Happy RVing....

Sounds like this is turning into an Iowa forum. Glen is from New Hampton in the NE corner. Welcome, everyone, to this great forum.
