Tire Replacement - Heads Up
OK, so I am still young enough to learn something.
I called two dealers to get a price and availability on replacing the tires on my 2000 Montana 5'ver...
I read the tire information that is on the plate that is located on the driver side of the 5'ver near the propane tank door. That information read as follows: 235/80R16E.
The dealers could not find that tire..
So, I looked at the tire that is on the RV and originally came on the 5'ver. The number on the tire is 235/85R16E. Notice 85 not 80.
So, lesson learned here is that you cannot rely on the plate.....
