Peace of mind

After all the postings about tires, balancing, axels, etc. I took Monty in for balancing, and brake inspection adjusting. There were about 4,000 miles under tow, The brakes did not! have to be adjusted. I'll never know if balancing helped. Can't hurt. So starting this Wed on the road I know I have done all I can for a pleasent and safe trip. As I was paying the bill I noticed a sign on the back wall "we service Dexter products" that made me feel real good.

Preventive maintenance usually means you never really know if you avoided a problem but on the other hand the peace of mind mentioned in your topic makes it worth the while.
