Tires

Just took a road trip thru Tennessee running east on I40! Came up on a Montana and had to change lanes to pass him! As I was passing him I thought of all the posts on here about tires and glanced over at the underside at the tires and sure enough something didn't look right! I went ahead and passed him and then pulled over to let him pass me and then got out behind him and took a closer look! Sure enough a huge bulge on the inside of the front right side tire on the Monty! He was tipped off by my actions as I rode close behind him and he pulled off on the next ramp, I pulled up next to him and told him what I saw. He told me he thought it was feeling a little funny and thanked me for stopping him! I didn't look to see what tires he had on but I know where I would place my bet, "Come on Keystone"!!! He was close to having an explosion and am glad I looked when I went by!

Most people just don't know about these tires. I met a guy at our Kroger store. He had had a blowout and was sure the tires on his camper was the best tires made. I told him if he kept on having blowouts he might won't to get either LTs or G rated tires. He didn't believe me. Oh well.

So true. Most first time 5th wheel buyers, even if they are previous RV owners, are not aware of the tire problems with these heavy rigs.
