Interesting doctor's comment
Yesterday, at my follow up visit and after the surgeon explained what he had done, he followed with this statement: "Contrary to the opinion of some, we surgeons don't heal. We bring tissue into close proximity and you and God do the healing." I like this guy.
Shoulder doing well, no bruising, no pain unless I make a positional error and stitches removed. Passive Therapy begins tomorrow.

Stiles, I'm having surgery tomorrow. We're in Matagorda, 2000 miles from our regular doctor and from the one and only surgeon who's ever operated on me. But, the surgery couldn't wait, so I've had to find a doctor locally. After several recommendations, I've landed in the hands of a doctor who has strong Christian beliefs and doesn't hesitate to pray with and for her patients (if they have no objections). I think both you and I have landed in the hands of good people.

Prayers going up for your successful surgery tomorrow. I'm sure your apprehensive about being away from home and regular doctors, but sounds like you found a doctor that talks to the same Healer, so you should do fine. Happy Trails, Steve and Susie
