Removing road gunk
Got some road gunk, tar, grease or something splashed up on the front of the Big Sky. It looks like it should easily be removed with a solvent, but I thought I better ask which cleaner is best for use on the full body paint. Thanks.

I have had excellent results with a product called Korkay. Every RV shop has it on Long Island. Hope it helps, John

either the diesel or WD-40, they won't hurt anything

I've used Isoprophl Alcohol for longer than I can remember- It leaves no residue and hasn't degraded the graphics- Just hold a soaked cloth on the area for a short time, then wipe it clean- It also works on bugs, etc.- I also use it to preclean on the rubber roof prior to doing any repairs- JMHO- Don

I use a Bounce fabric dryer sheet with WD-40 and bugs and crap come off very easily ... no scrubbing required!

I've heard of the Bounce sheet solution, but after using any solvents isn't it probably a good idea to wash the area (or the whole rig) to remove any solvent residue? Why take a chance.
