Hello One and All

Didn't know this group existed but glad we found you. Have enjoyed reading your questions and helpful answers. We are from Northern Wisconsin, right on the south shore of the "Big Lake", Superior or course. Our tow vehicle is a 2003 F450 4 door dually with a 6 speed tranny and diesel engine. We are anticipating arrival of our new 2005 Montana 3650RK the beginning of October. Just in time to put it in storage for the winter. Will definitely be looking forward to Spring. We usually travel with our grand daughter and our two labs, Sassy, a 5 year old black and now Ekko, our new addition, a 4 month old chocolate. We had a 1999 Montana 3255RL and just recently traded it off for another brand. Now, just one month later, we have traded that in on the 2005 Montana. Love the way the Montana tows and the quality. Pat and Crew

You have your winter's work planned out for yourself. Transferring goodies from the old to the new and making all the improvements and changes you will have picked up on the various forums. Enjoy your new unit.

Greetings from Washburn. Glad to see another Northern Wisconsinite joing the MOC. Am I correct you are Skip on Whipperfurth Rd. We just love our Monty and are slowly adjusting from the coleman Popup.

Hi Pat, welcome to the forum. It's going to be a long winter. However, you'll have lots of fun getting the Monty ready. There will be a ton of advice and ideas here, along with some great people to offer them. BTW, if you have any experience camping on the north shore of the big lake, I could use some suggestions; either in General or On the Road Again. Have fun with the new Monty.

Howdy!!
We , too, are proud new owners of a 3650RK.. starting to go the fulltime thing around mid-Oct. Should be interesting with a Sheperd and a cat!!! I told my wife, Lillian, "How much trouble can a 10lb cat be??"... jeez, I think it's more akin to a mountain lion on steroids!!! Should be interesting!!

Anyway, have fun in the winter!! (we'll miss ya in AZ)....

tjs.

Hello Ekko and crew,
Welcome to the MOC. You're in good company. A new 2005 model--how exciting. Winter will probably seem longer than ever!
