Hello from the hills of WV

As others have done, we joined your great forum to seek information and confirm that we had made a good choice in both tow vehicle and 5th wheel selection. Your great members have given us peace of mind with regards to our choice. Looking forward to hitting the road starting this spring with the new 3400RL, DW, two daughters, dog (ranbunctious basenji) and our cat.

Congratulations!! We live in Charleston and have been fifth wheeling for about three years, having recently traded our Laredo in for the Montana. We love it! We have learned so much from this forum, and the folks are certainly the most helpful anywhere.
take care,
Joe and Stacy

Bingo and Cathy,
Welcome to the MOC! I hope your new 3400RL provides you many years of family enjoyment and happy travels. A brand new Duramax dually! What a great choice for your new tow vehicle. You will love being on the road with that truck. Again, congrats and enjoy.

Joe and Stacy,
We are practically neighbors. We live in Teays Valley. We are in the process of trading our Travel Trailer for the new Monty (Can't wait). We usually spend a few weeks at Foxfire each summer, then head to Myrtle Beach for two or three weeks. Also spend a couple weekends in the Elkins area but are always looking for new places to relax!!
DW of Bingo (Cathy) :-)

Bingo and Cathy,
Welcome to the MOC. So glad to see another Montana owner from WV. I was raised in the eastern panhandle between Keyser & Romney. Now have a summer vacation home there which we enjoy when the weather is nice (Mid May to Sept). The other eight or nine months of the year we are traveling in our Montana. Perhaps our paths will cross down the road somewhere or at one of the MOC rallies. Enjoy your new "wheel estate"!!

Lou, Judy and Gang,
Nice hearing from you. I know where you were, our families are originally from the Mill Creek, Elkins area.

Hopefulowner,
Welcome to the MOC! I am a coal miners granddaughter; raised in Mingo county WV right in the heart of coal country. Gilbert and Glen Alum is where my family is from. Best people in the world...
Enjoy your new Monty! My husband and I had ours there in May. It can be interesting pulling through the hills and hollers. We had a blast.
take care,
tara

Welcomed and Congrats on your new setup. One of the best 5th wheels and a good truck to pull it with. Hope you have as much fun with yours and we do with ours.

Timothy,

Know it well, we are usually at Revelles Memorial day and Labor Day, looking forward to the relaxed luxury compared to the Puma we traded in.

Welcome to MOC. Our son is a mining engineer and is in Winchester, VA. He worked at Harpers Ferry and is now at a quarry in VA. We are coming through WV in May.

Welcome, and congratulations! Your rig should do just fine. WV is such a beautiful state. We have enjoyed several areas in the state but have much more to see. One of our most enjoyable "tows" was taking US 50 across WV. Beautiful drive. And solo driving US 60. And on and on and on. Even the interstates are beautiful drives in WV. I don't like paying tolls on I-64, however!
