Haven't seen that cold here. We will get to the negative teens sometimes but so far it has been a warmer winter than last year. Usually Jan/Feb is our coldest months. Stay Warm!

I retire in June so have to put up with the cold for one more winter. Then I have to talk DW into parting with the grandkids for 2 or 3 months.

Talking little snow ???

Checked forecast today slim to slight chance in He#% of ever getting snow here in the Philippines. We are in QUARENTINE till ???? as I am over 65 (72) and not allowed to travel except for medical. drug store, and food. Wife is Pinio and wants to visit back there to enjoy our RV stuck in our shed for the last 18 months.

Gotta say that we too got a bit of snow last night - something in excess of 18" on my back porch and it's still coming down. I had to clear an area for the dogs so got a bit of a cool 15F wake up shock. Oh well. I was wondering how I was going to fill my day. The snow blower is ready to rumble. Too early and dark for a photo but one may come later

Edit - got photo:

Snow in Virginia

We got a big nor'easter. We got 10 - 11". This might be our biggest storm of the year. My dh has been dealing with broken ribs and I have a healing broken wrist, so we just got the two 5vers winterized on Tuesday. This one we named firefly. I think the sparks out for a while.

What part of Va are you in? I will guess western or close to Bath Co.
We are down here in Roanoke and got just enough to cover the ground.

We go 20" here Dave. It was a pain clearing it as it was deeper than the snow blower so had to keep going over it again. Helped though that it was so light and fluffy. My sister just east of you in Washington co. got 36.
Normally I would be in GA now but DW wanted to come home for the Holidays She loves this stuff I may not be able to get her back down south

Wolf Creek Pass is southwest Colorado.

Hi Jim - don't you just "love" this white stuff. Officially we got 28.5" but the weather people didn't measure it in my yard - 32". As you mentioned, it swamped my little Agway snow blower and took me about 8 hours over two days to get the driveway cleaned out. Of course, living on a cul de sac, the @#$% town highway dept. as usual, left a 6' deep pile and about 15 feet long at the end of the driveway. Of course I procrastinated and the big blower is sitting, buried not attached to my little Iseki tractor.

Amazing with DWs and loving snow. I absolutely believe my DWe stands at the window, admiring each snowflake as I remove it to better place.

Keep dreaming of GA. It will happen

Love looking at pics of snow. Grew UP in PA. Have to say I do not miss it at all.

Sure hope we don't have as much as 1 flurry here where we are. I'll pass--- now I am cold just looking. Enjoy !!
