Thermostat Replacement

Hey all,

The thermostat in my Montana HC 375FL is not working very well and looking to replace it. I need to set the temp very low for the A/C to turn on. Is there a better alternative than the original Dometic? The thermostat controls the A/C, furnace, and heat pump.

The first thing I would do is call Dometic and see if your units should be replaced. Some were a problem when they were new and Dometic has sent folks new ones without a lot of hassle.

when my rig was new we had a similar issue.
The tech found cold air being pumped into the wall behind the thermostat. They taped up around the hole in the AC duct where a vent pipe had been put through during manufacture.
Cured my "thermostat" issue...
