Wouldn't buy the hitch, but I would pay good money for an up close front row seat at a hanging from an arch...just saying only one way to stop him for sure...

This man has defaced out national parks and used money made off of us to do it. Some people might give him a second chance but not me. My business in in the firearms industry if I went to Washington DC and lobbed for strict gun control do you think my customers would still buy from me? The internet would be on fire and tomorrow all of my customers would know and take their business elsewhere. That is exactly what I would do with him. If I had one of his products I would throw it away and that is exactly what my customers would do.

I don't believe we should convict him based on a newspaper article. Please wait until it is resolved by the courts.

Ryan Andersen, a local man who came under criticism earlier this week for carving his and his wife’s initials into Corona Arch near Moab, Utah, took responsibility for his actions and issued a public apology Thursday.

You can do a Google search for Ryan Andersen for the full article.

He only owned responsibility when caught. Tried hard not to get caught. The max is 5 years and $100,000 he earned it and deserves it all. It would not have an effect on his company or employees. If he was not caught would do it again.

Amazing how someone admits they made a mistake and now you want to boycott their products?

What about pro athletes and their horrible behavior? You still watch them play and spend money buying jerseys with their names etc.

I wish ppl would just find other avenues to channel their anger or just learn to move on. I agree it was a stupid mistake on his part but in my eyes doesn not reflect on the product they sell or ppl he employs. That hitch keeps me enjoying my RV and my family safely towing, but I do agree he made a mistake that can not be erased on a part of Nature and for that punish him alone not the entire company and ppl it employs.

Nope. Have not watched an NFL game since they started disrespecting the flag. But, that is a different topic. Let this play out, the end result will not be changed by someone buying a hitch or not.

Admits he made a mistake? A mistake is when I spell a word wrong. It’s NOT mistake to get out of ones car, hike to a monument for all to enjoy and deface it!. That takes intention, it’s not a mistake.. it’s called vandalism. And as far as football goes, NO! We don’t allow rapists, women abusers, druggies, animal killers, pedophiles and America Haters in OUR HOME! PERIOD!

Tell you what. If you worked for a Company and did something like this, you would be looking for another job!! It amazes me how much people will tolerate in America.. wow! WE DONT TOLERATE....but if YOU want to tolerate this type of behavior it’s a reflection on you.

Is this Tehran, Riyadh or America? Not calling for the death penalty or tar and feathering does not equate to tolerating bad or criminal behavior.

Come on guys. He said he was sorry. Sure that Some Other Body is sorry. Sorry he got caught. Give his a second chance. I’ll give him as much of a second chance as my customers would give me they caught me at a gun control rally, NONE.

mommy look what that man did

Not trying to get my post count up or anything but I`ve never seen so much whining about something so trivial. Yes he was a bad boy , hell get fined and reprimanded and everyone goes back to pretending they know everything and anything about camping and campers.
I mean Really you would think he dynamited the nose off of George Washington at Mt. Rushmore. So take a piece of sandstone rub off what he did and the next person that comes to the site will never know it happened. End of story.

When I first got the Andersen I went to a big parking lot just to see what my capabilities were in turning and bed rail clearance. I found that I could actually go a little past 90 degrees, and at 90 I had about 4-6" clearance to back of cab, depending on other factors. Gotta' say, in response to earlier post, if someone damaged their 5er because of truck/trailer contact, it would seem they weren't being very careful and observant. If the hitch was properly installed, I can see why Andersen would absolve themselves, assuming there are no other circumstances. I don't think their advertising says anything about guaranteeing against problems not of their making.
In Anderson's add on youtube they show a five foot bed pulling a large 5ver. This is not my first Rodeo Cowboy. The hitch was installed properly. I have pics. Both the cab and window needed repairs. If i seem ticked, I AM!. First, not one ram dealer in my area had a longbed. Second, the hitch dealer guaranteed the trailer and cab would not meet. Third, im still paying for the insurance claim.i really don't need people sayingI installed it wrong or did not care. The truck was 70,000 and had 2000 mles on it. THE Montana was new. I have been doing this since 1992.. IM not the only one who has damaged their truck with the Anderson hitch. The 15 Rams megacabs bed is only 6'3".. this damage happened while backing into my driveway at a 90 degree turn. Cab had a small dent near the rear window and the window shattered. The entire cab on the right side needed to be repainted, except doors. The bed had to be moved back.I was not happy. I should have bought the pullrite to begin with. Dealer gave me a refund on the Anderson.
Since then we bought a 17 ram Longhorn 3500 dually, aisin, 5th wheel prep, auto level, 4:10s... NEVER BELIEVE AN ADD OR TAKE A DEALERS WORD. ALSO, ANDERSON REPLIED TO MY INCIDENT AND OFFERED TO PAY .. THEY DID NOT..
