Charging 6 volt batteries

Sorry if this has already been asked. I just replaced my 12 volt group 27 with 2 US battery 2200 XC2 wired in series. My question is, will the RV charge the batteries when connected to shore power? My concern is over charging the 6 volt batteries.

It should charge your batteries. Your charge controller should maintain your batteries when plugged in to shore power it shouldn’t over charge them. The only problem would be if you install lithium batteries then you may need to change your charge controller to handle lithium.

Your two 6 volt golf cart batteries connected together are seen by the converter as one 12 volt battery, and it will keep them charged and maintained as if they were one battery.

X3. We have/had 4 6-volt batteries. Not an issue. Our new Montana has over 500 amp of lithium.
