Door Windwo

Anyone else have a problem with all the light that the door window allows to enter the cabin? We just purchased a 3121RL Montana and wonder if there is a cheaper shade that one can purchase instead of replacing the entire window unit. I watch the video on replacing the entire window with the built in shade and WOW that looks like a hassle. Just wondering if anyone else has come up with a cheaper suggestion?

Our 2017 came with a shade, but on our 2014 and our 2010 we used the same decorative window tint we used on the skylight in the bathroom. Got it from Home Depot, looks like stained glass.

Bought a roll of insulating foil from CW. Cut to size and velcro in place. Cuts the light and the heat.

I replaced our window in our 330RL with the slim shade. It really isn't as complicated as it seems. I believe it is more intimidating than anything else. The only drawback I see is opening and closing it. The only way to close/open the shade is basically to go outside, then close the screen door to operate the shade. We do like it tho.

We ordered a thin shade from Lippert. Works great and we can slide up and down. Check window for 4 small clips near the corner of window frame.

I had attempted to put up a shade with velcro and it caused adhesive burns in my window. In my new unit, I wanted something easy that wouldn't need installation gear so while at Walmart I went to the baby section and they have a static cling heat and sun shield for windows and only cost $3.00. Note: it comes folded up so you need to unfold it and put it somewhere warm to get the fold creases out it.

This must be the same one. We installed this...wasn't hard at all. But it is a bit of a pain to open/close the shade. But it works.
