2021 Tampa Show

I see on the rally calendar that the meet up at the Tampa show is Wednesday the 13th of January. Is there someone heading up this group? We plan on attending.

In the past few years nothing much happened. A couple of years ago a few people showed up, but the instructions were to meet at the Montana exhibit. It's a big exhibit, so we didn't know where to meet. Last year one other couple showed up and we said hi and that was about it. This winter we are not going to Florida, and hence, not to the RV show. So don't get your hopes up. I think if people want to do this, they should arrange it online, and pick a specific spot to meet.

Well, I guess I will volunteer to host the Tampa Show. I will keep everyone updated as it gets closer. We were at LazyDays yesterday, and they are still planning on the show being held at the Fairgrounds. Camping World has already pulled out. With the explosion of Covid around the country, this will be a dynamic situation. If the show is cancelled, they plan on hosting their own show at LazyDays. I will need a head count, as I will try to get Keystone to host a luncheon. That is if there is anyone left at Keystone. With Mark Krol and Jason Gill gone, I need to find some new contacts.

Thanks Ron & Terrie. It looks hopeful that we will be able to go to Florida next winter (2021-2022). We look forward to the show then. We go every year when we are in Florida (12 years so far). It was at the Tampa show that we found the Montana model we ended up buying. We bought it in Canada.

We are thinking about going to the Tampa show. What are some good options for campgrounds? We are mainly interested in new furniture for our 2014 3402rl. Is this a good place to look or would we be wasting our time? It would really be difficult for someone to pry me away from my current fully paid for 5er.
